PowerShade is the brand name given to a range of Eclipse vertical blind systems, which incorporate a motor into the head rail and are operated using a remote control unit or by setting an optional light sensor.
The units can be fitted with 89mm vertical vanes or 127mm vertical vanes, which can be specified in a very large range of fabrics (over 200 options), including plain neutral tones, patterned options and blackout fabrics. Options also include fabrics with additional UV protection to minimise the risk of damage to delicate furnishings and fire retardant fabrics, for improved safety in the home or office.
Automatic Security Blinds
For convenience and security, PowerShade electric blinds can be specified with a light sensor, which automatically detects dawn and dusk, adjusting the blinds according to light conditions.
These blinds are the perfect option for security conscious individuals who may not be present in a property for extended periods. They also work beautifully in the lounge and dining areas in apartments, automatically closing at night for added privacy and opening automatically at dawn to allow client's to enjoy views over the city or countryside each morning before work.
