Pleated Options
Pleated blinds offer basic privacy from translucent cloth materials but provide a wonderful natural light effect, making them ideal for rooms other than bedrooms (where we recommend a blackout option), such as second lounges and playrooms.
Available in a range of neutral fabrics and patterned fabrics, they can tone seamlessly into a room or add a splash of colour and warmth to a space.
Velux's new flying pleated products allow the blind fabric to be adjusted from both ends of the window to block out specific bands of light which may hit the window differently throughout the day. Hi means bright light can be effectively controlled in part of the window while the rest of the window can be left without a blind covering, maximising the light levels in a room.
Usually installed as a manual blind, but now also available in electric remote control options for additional cost.

VENETIAN OPTIONS
Venetian Velux blinds not only allow customers to control the amount of light entering a room, but also permit the direction of light to be controlled with easily tilting vanes.
When in the closed position, the solid vanes offer high levels of solar protection and may offer sufficient light reduction for use in bedrooms.
Venetian units are very suitable for areas exposed to increased humidity such as kitchens and bathrooms. Since the blind vanes are moisture resistant and can be easily wiped and cleaned, they are perfect to periodically humid conditions.
Available in 25mm vane widths in a range of colours, manufactured by the Velux Group of companies and professionally installed by Interior Power.
