Screw-Fit and Bead Fit Blinds for Modern u-PVC Frames
The INTU range from Eclipse is a relatively new introduction to the marketplace but has already proved extremely popular with consumers throughout the UK.
Incredibly simple to operate, neatly integrating into the existing window or door frame and available in pleated, cellular pleated and venetian styles, INTU blinds now account for a large proportion of blinds sold for PVC windows and doors.
Great for PVC Conservatories
INTU blinds are absolutely perfect for modern PVCu conservatories. With a range of styles and colours available to provide excellent solar shading, privacy at night and light in the day.
Easy to Use
INTU blinds are a manually operated blinds system, utilising two extremely thin tension cords which sit neatly along each side of the glass window pane. The blind vanes can be tilted and turned using a simple slider bar which is built into the slim line headwall, and the whole blind can be raised to a fully open position by simply holding the bottom rail and sliding the vanes upwards to the top of the blind. The tension cords have to be carefully set, but once they are correctly tensioned, the blinds operate very smoothly and easily and when the blinds are in the raised position, the stay suspended until the bottom rail is physically moved downwards again.
No Holes in the Window or Frame
For most window sizes, INTU bead-fit blinds are available, which simply clip into most PVC frames, meaning no holes need to be drilled into the frame or window to support the blind. Many customers prefer this option, as it gives added piece of mind that the integrity of the outer window or door frame has not been compromised.
Of course, this also means that should the blind ever need to be removed from the window, it can be done so without leaving any lasting damage to the window frame or surround.
Please note that the bead-fit (no-holes) version of the INTU blind cannot be used for windows in excess of a prescribed size, as the weight of the blind may exceed the capacity of the bead-fit system. Our installation experts will be able to advise customers on a case by case basis whether the INTU bead-fit blind is suitable for their window or door applications.
Matching Hardware Colours
INTU head rail and bottom rails are available in three colours to match customer's window and door frames: White, Brown & Silver.
