How do I place an order with Interior Power?
Placing an order with Interior Power is very easy.
Firstly, simply call us on 01252 719524 or use our to explain your requirements.
We will discuss your needs and arrange an appointment to visit your commercial or residential property in order to inspect your windows and take precise measurements. This process usually takes between 20 minutes and 45 minutes although this will obviously depend on the number, size and complexity of the dimensions of the windows being measured.
Interior Power head office will then produce a written quotation based on our discussions and measurements.
The process to the quotation stage including the premises visit is provided completely free of charge and is entirely without obligation.
If you are happy with our quote, we will ask for a deposit and Interior Power head office will immediately order your blinds from our recommended manufacturer(s).
Depending on the style of blinds being ordered, blinds typically take between 5 to 15 working days to be delivered to our operational premises, where they will be quality checked.
Provided the blinds are all correctly manufactured to a high specification, Interior Power will contact you immediately to arrange a convenient installation date (usually within the 5 working days depending on the client's schedule).
Remember, a site visit and written quotation is provided FREE without any obligation to proceed with an order.
Does Interior Power install in my area?
80% of Interior Power's work is completed in Central London including the Docklands and the Square Mile, South West London and North London.
Our installation teams visit London at least 3 times a week and can usually arrange an appointment for an initial quotation at relatively short notice.
In addition to London, Interior Power regularly provide blinds installer services in: Farnham, Godalming, Guildford, Camberley, Bracknell, Chertsey, Woking, Windsor Berkshire, Reading, Fleet, Basingstoke and Alton.
Interior Power cover a wider area for large commercial work and residential development installations. Please call us for further details.
How much will new blinds/curtains cost?
The costs involved are largely dependant on two key factors:
1 - The size of your windows
2 - The style of blind you would like installed
If cost is a driving factor in the choice of blinds, Interior Power have a selection of fabrics and woods which are highly affordable and designed to look great while maintaining a cap on costs.
If you have a clear idea of the style of blind you would be interested in and also have your window measurements, Interior Power can often give you a ballpark guide price by telephone. Please call us if you are interested in receiving a guide price.
Because of the wide range of manufacturers supplying Interior Power, we have access to a broad selection of products ranging from great value entry level designs to the high end Japanese, Silhouette and Roman designs which really do form a stunning accompaniment to a high end period or contemporary property.
Which style / design is right for me?
Every client is different and we try to tailor our recommendations to suit your budget, the style of building, the style of furnishing, light requirements, privacy requirements and ease of operation.
While many of our clients have a clear idea about the look they are trying to achieve, we also assist clients with recommendations and proposals.
A recommendation can only really be achieved once we have visited the property and we try to include this process when the Interior Power team make an initial visit to take measurements in order to prepare a quotation.
Do you provide sample fabric and vanes?
Interior Power have an extensive range of professionally produced fabric books and sample material from our manufacturers, which we bring to each consultation.
We have fabric swatches and sample slats which our clients can review, touch and select the the best match for their requirements.
There is often no good substitute to seeing a sample of a fabric or other material in-situ in an office or home in order to identify the very best blind style and material for your needs.
How long will it take to supply blinds / what are your lead times?
Our lead times are variable depending on current workloads (for example the lead up to Christmas is a very busy period), the blinds being ordered (for example Luxaflex blinds are manufactured in Holland giving slightly longer delivery times) and the availability of fabric.
However, as a general guide, our lead times are roughly:
Between 1 - 8 working days from enquiry to first appointment
Between 1 - 2 working days from first appointment to receive a written quotation.
Between 5 - 20 working days from acceptance of quotation to installation of blinds.
On what days can you install my blinds - can you install outside of usual office hours?
Our core office hours are 9:15am to 5:30pm Mon - Fri, although we're often in working later than this!
Our installers are generally available in London between 10:30am to 4:00pm Mon - Fri.
Out of hours installation is available for installations in excess of 15 blinds, subject to agreement with Interior Power.
How long will it take to install my blinds?
Installation time is dependant on the number, size, shape and position of the blinds being installed.
We take great care during installation, to accurately hang the blinds and minimise the risk of creating any damage to the main wall surface or window recess.
If time is of the essence and you are concerned about the time that our installation team will be installing window coverings at your property, please call us prior to the installation date and we will try to give you an estimate of the installation time required for your property.
As a very rough guide for standard blinds installations, please allow approximately 20 minutes per blind for installation purposes.
Do you provide a guarantee for your work?
Yes - all installations come complete with a 12 month guarantee.
If there is a problem as a result of a manufacturing defect or installation fault with your blind within 12 months of installation, Interior Power will carry out an assessment and endeavour to fix or replace the blind at no extra cost.
Is Interior Power insured during all blinds installation work?
Yes - Interior Power has full product and public liability insurance.
Is Interior Power registered under the CIS scheme?
The Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is only relevant to our commercial clients.
The supply and installation of blinds is currently exempt from the CIS scheme under existing scheme rules.
Interior Power is not therefore registered under the scheme.
We constantly review the scheme to ensure that we are in compliance with the rules and are happy to provide further information about the exemption for blinds installers to prospective clients. Please call us and ask to speak to the accounts department for further information on the CIS scheme and how this affects Interior Power.
